Universal Ai University, India’s first Artificial Intelligence  University based out of Karjat near Mumbai announced the successful deployment of its advanced AI chat-bot named ‘GURUJI’ to transform in-campus students’ communication. ‘GURUJI’ will be an AI-powered study companion for the students of available round – the – clock.

Introducing yet another technology-led initiative to transform the campus life for the students in a row after a successful launch of the firs Metaverse and Ai-based admission process platform called ‘Eventuality’ last year, Universal Ai University has unveiled this Ai-powered chat-bot to enhance the student and visitor experience by providing instant and precise information through AI-driven interactions.

The chat-bot will act as a personalised AI tutor for the students. For instance, if the students missed their classes, then ‘Guruji’ can provide summaries and key concepts to help them catch up with the ongoing syllabus or even refresh the topics with clarity.

Equipped with advanced Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Natural Language Understanding (NLU) frameworks, ‘GURUJI’ ensures accurate and contextually relevant responses. Its integration with multiple data sources—including websites, PDFs, Word documents, and text files—allows comprehensive knowledge access for users.

‘GURUJI’ is built on a robust system architecture that includes AI and Machine Learning Capabilities that utilizes state-of-the-art embedding models and machine learning frameworks, ‘GURUJI’ processes complex queries efficiently. It has Advanced Data Sources that can connect with multiple vector databases such as Chroma DB, Pinecone, FAISS, and Astra DB, ensuring a vast and reliable information repository. Its ‘Interactive Frontend’ designed with ‘React’, provides a seamless and user-friendly interface. It has been hosted on high-performance local servers for maximum reliability and security. The University has planned to enhance its features by including real-time avatars, multilingual support, and sentiment analysis for a more engaging user experience.

Last year, Universal Ai University innovatively introduced the country’s first  Metaverse and AI-based admission process named ‘Eventuality’ by combining optimisation algorithms, crowd-generating tools, and visual-enhancing technologies, which has been rendering an engaging and transforming experience to the students over traditional admission methods.
